Since the HN55 runs off of water flow rather than electricity, injection is controlled by the simple addition of a solenoid valve. When the pool controller determines that the water needs to be treated, it triggers the solenoid valve to open, diverting water flow which activates the injector. When the controller determines the water is optimally conditioned, it triggers the valve to close and the injector ceases operation.

The HN55 can be used to inject liquid chlorine solution for disinfection or muriatic acid solution for pH control. And, the HN55 can inject over 300 gallons-per-day (GPD) of solution!
